On site management staff, fully equipped theatres in all technical aspects (lights, sound, etc.), valet/secured parking, and marketing through our mailing list and social media channels. There is also a restaurant (Eat This), and a full-service cafe (Bungalow 40) both located in the Hudson Theatre building.
All independent producers are required to carry general liability insurance. Please reach out to us for more information on general liability, other forms of insurance, and vendor referrals.
We have a beautiful lit marquee on the front of the building. Additionally, we have poster display cases on the exterior and interior of the building.
Once in a while, the Hudson will co-produce depending on the material, its perceived potential and the theatre’s schedule. A co-production arrangement will usually involve a reduction in the rental cost of a theatre in exchange for a percentage of the box office revenue
Most of the shows at the Hudson are independently produced. Casting notices are typically posted 10-12 weeks before a show opens on the usual casting sites such as LA Casting, Now Casting and Breakdown Services. We do not have an in-house casting department. Please do not submit audition materials directly to the theatre.
We have classes that have been with us for years and some that are just starting out. Call (323) 856-4252 or email email@example.com for an up-to-date list of classes offered at the Hudson.
